Labor Doula Services
Doula care will help you have a safer, easier, faster birth. She will assist the partner to be as involved as possible. You will receive care for your emotional and physical comfort, bringing quiet relaxation, and a sense of peace. Giving birth is very a vulnerable experience for the mama. Suzy creates an empowering birth for her clients, the mama-to-be can develop a swagger that says: "I gave birth, what's your super power?!"
Postpartum & Lactation Services
Women are expected to seamlessly transition from woman, to mother within hours of birth. No time, space, honor, or care giving is offered to the new mother at a time when she needs it the most to regain physical health, and that doesn't take into account her emotional needs. No wonder postpartum depression is on the rise! At a minimum it can feel stressful, and overwhelming. Suzy provides continuity of care for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, giving the new mother MORE support from her doula equipping her to succeed as a parent.
